February Meeting Announcement

The Central Ohio Cloud Computing User Group is a monthly meeting to discuss many aspects of cloud computing. The group is a community driven group which will discuss a wide range of ideas, problems, solutions, and technologies which compromise cloud computing. If it is cloud computing related, we’re into it! The group will meet at TechColumbus, 1275 Kinnear Road, Columbus, OH 43212.

Join us for our innagural meeting on Tuesday, February 15th from 6pm until 8pm.

Session Abstract:
The topic for the meeting will be ”Introduction to Cloud Computing / Cloud 101”. Michael Collier, a Windows Azure MVP, will be leading the presentation. If you are a developer or architect, and you want to learn more about the cloud, including scenarios for cloud computing and choices available to you in the cloud, then this is a session you’ll want to attend. We’ll discuss the various types of cloud computing, what benefits cloud computing brings, some of the common challenges, and take a look at offerings from a few of the major cloud providers.

Announcing the Central Ohio Cloud Computing User Group
