The Google Cloud (SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS)
Since dominating search and advertising, Google has marched into the SaaS world with Analytics, Gmail, Maps, Google Apps, YouTube, Google+, Picasa, Google Drive, Android Google Play and much more.  Google PaaS now includes App Engine/BigTable, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, Prediction API, App Scripts, Gadgets and more.  Most recently we have a Google IaaS offering in Google compute, offering Linux VMs.  Join us as we chat up all things Google Cloud related.  We’ll also spend some time in Eclipse writing some Java code for App Engine and some time in the App Scripts IDE writing some JavaScript to make Gmail dance.
Let’s investigate this Google Universe together

Pete Gordon’s just a guy found in the Google Universe who’s been programming since his Commodore 64 and doing Internet software since graduating from Ohio State in 1997.  Just like everyone else in this industry, he spends his time trying to figure out how to best do this stuff we call software in an Internet, Mobile, Social driven world!
